Ariel Larson earned a B.S. in botany and environmental studies and M.S. in conservation biology & sustainable development from UW-Madison, along with a business, environment & social responsibility certificate. Her interest in using business to improve sustainability brought her to IPM Institute’s Sustainable Food Group. Ariel manages new project and service development, work with General Mills to support integrated pest management strategies in their supply chain, partnerships with various clients using the Pesticide Risk Tool to achieve, document and communicate risk reductions, and the development of IPM Elements for iPiPE. Outside of the office she can probably be found biking around Madison from park to park or scouting farmer’s markets for great produce, all with her toddler in tow.
