Will received his M.S. in Sustainable Development in Agriculture from the Agris Mundus program, studying at the University of Copenhagen and Montpellier SupAgro in France. His past projects have largely focused on working with smallholder farmers and include bridging urban-rural market gaps for organic rice in southern China and determining obstacles for on-farm banana value addition in Kenya. His experiences working with agricultural value chains abroad inspired a return to explore issues within the domestic food system, leading him to work with the IPM Institute. When not in the office, Will can be found hugging trees, climbing cliffs and combing through used book and record stores, on the hunt for the classics.
